RUUT Salon Experience Specialist

Full Time Position: 35 - 40 Hours/Week

General Shift: 10am - close / Tues - Sat

 

ROLE OBJECTIVE

 The Salon Experience Specialist is a supportive position focusing on the overall mission and success of the RUUT experience. Through relationship building, appointment coordination, AVEDA knowledge, and overall customer care, the Salon Experience Specialist position is a key role in the overall success of daily operations and growth at RUUT. 

OUTLINE OF ROLE

  • Salon Experience Host

    • ​greets and hosts guests

    • continues to serve guests and monitor experience

    • provides individualized approach with intent to exceed guest expectations

    • maintains organization of all salon areas for optimal guest experience 

  • ​ Reservation & Experience Coordinator

    • receives incoming calls

    • schedules and confirms all guest appointments

    • ​knowledgeable and provides information of RUUT Service Menu

    • makes appropriate service suggestions/recommendations 

    • documents/updates client profile based on interaction

    • manages service schedules for all Stylists

  • ​Retail Specialist

    • knowledgeable and provides information of all salon retail products

    • makes appropriate product suggestions/recommendations 

    • supports guests and team with appropriate retail education and recommendations

    • maintains organization of retail area for optimal experience 

  • Transaction & Register Management

    • manages guest transactions

    • manages daily transaction log ​​

  • Customer Care & Success Specialist

    • ​promotes overall guest wellness during every experience

    • assists all team members in creating overall experience to exceed guest expectations

    • conducts all tasks to ensure customer success

    • troubleshoots to resolve issues and concerns within daily operations

    • develop and maintain knowledge base of evolving products and services

    • assists guests with challenges

    • resolves guest challenges 

  • Aveda Inventory Management​

    • maintains product on-hand counts​

    • receives incoming inventory orders

    • maintains organization of inventory 

    • manages updates for new product launches

    • maintains and assists retail displays and schematics

  • Closing Tasks​

    • performs and oversees all evening closing tasks ​

    • prepares for the following business day

OVERALL CREDENTIALS OF IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Service Industry Experience (required)

  • Appointment Scheduling Experience (preferred)

  • Retail & Inventory Experience (preferred)

  • Windows & iOS Systems Experience

  • Microsoft Office Experience

  • Types 40+ words per minute
